A little trek up to Mt. Donna Buang was had, not a lot of snow at all but certainly made the littlest very happy. Her new found, two years too late, obsession with "Frozen" is in full swing, so… building a snowman was A MUST! (sings* do you want to build a snoooowmaaan?) She saw one that someone else had made and found it fascinating. The time came. The snowman was built and being the fantastic, on top if it all parent I try to be - I had a carrot stashed in my inner pocket pocket. I was the hero! For about 30 seconds. It was love! Upon completion, she decides that she doesn't want to leave it amongst the trees, rather, she wants to move it to the other one so they can "be friends". That's a job for Daddy and it job it sure was.
She's now seen snow for herself.
Next time, we'll be a little more prepared and provide her with gloves rather than socks that immediately soaked through leaving her tiny hands iced. We actually have been to the snow, the "proper" snow, not these patchy white blobs, several times with and without kids; snowboarding, skiing, we've stayed for up to a week… this was just an unorganised, last minute, parent failure of a mess.
Raising kids? High five.
